Creative Bodies of Fashion
Doctoral research - Fieldwork
These images have been captured during a ten months ethnography in London, as part of my PhD thesis fieldwork.
On set with fashion freelance creatives, I documented how they worked on collaborative editorials and test shoots aimed at building their portfolio, networking, and experimenting with new creative ideas.

By being immersed in the field and observing creatives at work, I was able to see how freelance creatives come together to work on a common project, practice co-creation, and accommodate for different ideas on set.
This research also revealed the particularities of fashion photography work, which involves physical, emotional, affective, and immaterial types of labour.
